Starbucks Store Manager interview questions

The job was first posted in April 2023. I was reached out to by the recruiter who really wanted me for the role and fast tracked an interview with the DM of that area. The interview was actually with two DMs, but only one of them was asking questions. Based on the interview and how the conversation was going, they really wanted to proceed with my application and make an offer as they were looking to hire and get someone trained and ready to go before the summer season. However, I’d got an e-mail the next day staying they decided not to more forward with a generic reason. I reached out to the recruiter who explained the hiring manager went with someone else implying it was an internal hire. Then a month later the same exact position was reposted, so I reached out to the recruiter again and they said they’d keep me in the loop to get me an interview again. Then just a few days later, I got rejected again with the same generic message and not even another interview invite. I reached out to them again asking why and they explained the hiring manager never made any offers during the first round and they couldn’t give me a reason why I was rejected. The same exact position was posted again for a third time just recently. I reached out to the same recruiter one last time and they told me they didn’t make an offer the second round and wouldn’t pass my information to the hiring manager at all, which I found highly strange. This same recruiter also rejected all of my applications for available Store Manager positions for the surrounding area with zero reason why. Instead of hiring someone who’s exceeded all the requirements and qualifications, they’d rather waste 3+ months while those stores are currently without support and may be struggling due to the summer busy season. I find it highly unprofessional and honestly would look into this area if I was the Regional Director as to why they’re refusing to hire for a role and reach out to the recruiter as to why they’re wrongfully rejecting candidates other applications.

Very quick process from prescreen to offer letter. In person interview that was behavioral interview format with two district managers. Took about 45 minutes to an hour as introductions were lengthy.
