I had an employee referral, which was very helpful. Applied online. Connected with a recruiter. Screened by the hiring manager. Invited in for an in-person interview. Interviewed with seven different directors and HR professionals. Was offered the position in about a week and then it took a few weeks to finalize all the required background checks etc.
