I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Phone screen by HR then hiring manager.
Brought in for F2F (wouldn't pay for travel).
Never met with key people I would work with on a day to day basis.
No surprise questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very much from a list of typical questions.
Almost like HR put them together for them or they pulled from the web.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2014
Interview
5 person interview loop. Talked to 2 of the VP's, one in my group and one outside of the group.
Not that difficult compared to Amazon or Microsoft. Not a lot time with whiteboarding.
Had to come back for a last round of interviews since I worked at Amazon to ensure I was not a typical Amazon employee to poison the Starbucks culture. Strange, but true.

Question 1
How do you handle a situation when there is conflict and need to work with this person who has a conflict with you?
I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in May 2013
Interview
Behaviorial questions on a one on one basis. Then, an offer was made a few weeks after the interview. Pretty easy interview process but it took some time to get an offer and get onboard. I would recommend that you avoid this company as it is not a technology company and is a food/beverage company requiring marketing people to create/maintain their brand.
