I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stanford University in Apr 2022
Interview
Went through a screening call and then a panel interview within a span of a week which was done through zoom. I had been referred to this role after applying for another position within the same department so I knew many employees already. I was told that I would be contacted within two weeks with their decision but was ghosted despite sending them a follow-up email.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
It was relaxed, professional and engaged, great deal of discussion of the position where my credentials fit in. No direct answer about when the position was to be hired. Never responded to email notes inquiring about the hiring or position.. Except when they initiated the conversation. It felt as thought they were dragging the process and gaslighting candidates to keep them from going somewhere else. (Because the contact was infrequent, but enough to keep you thinking you have a chance for the position.)
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
It was a very smooth and intuitive process. The interviewer was very engaging and curious. A lot of questions about your interest in the research field. There were behavioral questions, along with conceptual questions about how your prior experience relates to the research topic.
