I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sephora (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2011
Interview
I had applied through their website. They emailed me to set up a phone interview. They then called me and asked if I would be interested in coming into the Sephora downtown to freelance for a new line that was coming out. The pay was decent so I accepted the temporary job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Houston, TX) in Mar 2013
Interview
It was very long. Remember to be patient. The main thing they are looking for is someone with great work ethic that wants a career not a job. If you say to them " one day I want to have my own skincare line" or " I want to be a famous makeup artist " - you absolutely will not get hired. It costs thousands of dollars to train you to standards and they do not want you to quit

Question 1
Tell me some characteristics of great clown service, how do you give someone elevated service?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Joplin, MO) in Apr 2014
Interview
Most confusing interview I've ever been too. Asked a lot of questions that weren't relatable to the job. Still, it wasn't a hard interview. They either broke you or made a second interview.
