I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Las Vegas, NV) in Jun 2016
Interview
Went in for a group interview with 4 other applicants. It felt brief and casual. We all went in order from left to right. She only asked a couple of questions about ourselves and why we see ourselves with sephora. I was surprised how quick it went! After that, I got a call a few days later for a one on one. The lady was nice and she made it seem like I got the job towards the end of the interview. Asked a few questions about me and previous work experiences. In the end, she praised me and said that I'd be the perfect fit, they would be delighted to have me, and I will be expecting a call on this specific day to meet with the District Manager. I was waiting and waiting, never got a call back. I even followed up but I'm left with nothing! It's faulty and unprofessional to inform an applicant that they are the best candidate for the job without making the complete decision.

Question 1
Why Sephora? Where do you see yourself in the next 3-5 years? Tell me about yourself? Why did you leave/want to leave your current job?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Tigard, OR) in Jul 2016
Interview
Applied online and was called a few days later for a group interview for the following week. It was 5 ladies including myself, the cash wrap coordinator and a manager. Both ladies were super nice, made the entire interview comfortable. I was invited back to meet with the store director. They called me a week later saying they were interested in having me on the team but I ended up declining since I accepted a really great opportunity elsewhere. They were so awesome to ask me if the could keep my application for the holidays, and I told them yes. Thank you Sephora for making the process easy and comfortable!
My advice for the interview: Wear all black (I wore a black blazer and shirt, black skinny pants, and black heels), bring your resume and cover letter, be sure to practice your answers before your interview, and just be happy! Don't go on and on about how you love make-up, that's why you're there, you need to make it clear WHY you want to work in makeup, you need to be a team player and someone who is focused on making your clients happy.

Question 1
How do you feel about store policies, and have you ever broken a rule or policy?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora
Interview
The interviewing process was lengthy. I met with multiple store directors, district managers and ultimately the regional director. I felt like this gave me great exposure to the company and the position for which I was hiring.
