I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2016
Interview
Three interviews. 1) Phone interview, 5 minutes long. I got called in for a group interview. 2) Group interview with 4 other girls. Got called in 5 days later for a one on one interview with the store manager. 3) One on one with store director/manager. Super chill and we mostly just talked about makeup and drawing. Got offered the job two days later. They do check references so make sure you have references that are ready to answer their call

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (New York, NY) in May 2016
Interview
I applied online and got a call for an interview several days later. I wore all black, business casual. The first interview was a group interview with two other people and a specialist at the store, and the second interview was a one-on-one with the general manager. The interviewers were very relaxed and relatable so it made the process much easier. I applied for a cashier position so they asked customer service related questions about our previous experience. A few more questions were asked to get a feel about how easygoing we were/ what our personalities were like. One thing I like is that they described the work environment and how Sephora really cares about its employees. They made it seem even more enjoyable to work for Sephora beyond the benefits we already knew about when heading in. A lot of the questions asked were based on your answers so it made it seem more like a conversation than just questions being read off of a paper.

Interview
...Group interviews are terrifying. I bombed, lol. I think I would have presented myself better if it had been one on one. I have an esthetician's license and the position I applied for involved inventory management which is something I have a lot of experience in, so I was hoping it would be a good fit. Guess they're looking for a more extroverted personality type.
