I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sephora (Ann Arbor, MI) in Sep 2016
Interview
I did not have a group interview. I applied online for both Cashier and Color Consultant positions and nearly a month passed without hearing any thing back. I decided to print my resume and hand it in to the management in person. While in the store, one of the managers asked me a few brief, casual questions about why I wanted to work there and what my availability was. I then received a call back in the next 3 days.
I was scheduled an interview with the Assistant Store Director a week later, and another week later, I interviewed with the Store Director. It took her another week to call back and finally offer me a position.
I gave this a neutral position because I was told by the Assistant Director that it was a permanent position, but later told by the Director that it was only for seasonal. The process took almost 2 months. The positions were posted online in late July, but they told me they do not officially hire until October.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sephora (Trumbull, CT) in Sep 2016
Interview
I applied online and got a call to schedule an interview 3 days later. I met with the store director and training educator named Lisa and Ashley. I got there 30 minutes early. We walked out to a quiet area and they asked me typical customer service and makeup related questions. I'm an experienced makeup artist and have years of customer service experience so it was a very easy process. The interview was over in 15 minutes and they contacted my references the same day. Got the call today that I got the job!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Copenhague, Hovedstaden) in Sep 2016
Interview
I only had one interview, which was a one-on-one interview, I'm guessing it's because this Sephora is brand new and hasn't opened yet, or it might be because the Scandinavian Sephoras interview process is different than other Sephoras worldwide. I was interviewed by the head of HR and training manager, who was very sweet and made me feel at ease. The interview probably took around 30 minutes. The questions weren't hard at all - All in all a very relaxed interview.
I had the option when I applied online to attach a motivational 1 minute video explaining why they should hire me. I'm sure that helped.
