I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sears
Interview
Overall the interview process was a positive experience. They are looking for very high quality engineers who can demonstrate both their technical proficiency and ability to problem-solve even when situations aren't ideal.
Got an email from a Sears recruiter with links for available positions and to email back after I've submitted the aplication
Applied online including an assesment which took quite some time and had notified the recruiter about my application. He obviously did not realise that I have a job and that I am not available during the times he would call leaving me a message to call back. When I would call back, I would always get his voicemail. I asked him severeal times to send me an email with questions he might have for me but he kept on returning my calls at the wrong times instead of shedule a time for a phone interview. Very unprofessional attitude.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sears (Hoffman Estates, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
This interview was a two step process where one step was to do a brief technical overview with the Hiring manager over the phone. Then the second round was to go for in person to interview with the whole technical team. Each one of the team members have done the technical interview. There were about 5 guys who did the interview. The whole interview process was done in 3 hours and they came up with the result the same day.
