I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears (Pineville, NC) in Mar 2017
Interview
It was a very short interview. Basic questions about electronics and troubleshooting..asked if I know ohms law. Then basically talked about training and salary, etc. He asked if I had any questions. Was very easy. The environment was weird though
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sears (New York, NY) in Jul 2014
Interview
I was contacted directly by the manager of the open position who I had worked with at a previous company. I met with her and then set up an interview with her manager who was the head of the department. I was asked to present my portfolio during that interview.

Question 1
They asked me to describe my responsibilities at my previous position.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sears (Hoffman Estates, IL) in May 2016
Interview
Was asked to come back twice for 2nd interview. I guess their policy is that if one interviewer says not to move forward on a candidate, then the whole process stops and the candidate is rejected. Based on this odd practice, I am not surprised that this company will be closing soon.

Question 1
They asked me several times why I had so many jobs. I guess the girl who interviewed me who only had one job after college didn't understand what being a contractor was and felt I wasn't a good match for Sears.
