I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sears (New Brunswick, NJ) in Feb 2012
Interview
They asked a series of canned questions that seemed very repetitive. The process took 1 hour and they called me back for two more interviews. it seemed like a lot for a basic retail job position. overall they were friendly and nice. I was not interested in working in the electronics dept. The appliance manager came in and was very friendly as well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sears (Cleveland, OH) in Apr 2013
Interview
met with department manager, he asked me a list of various questions, we toured the store and then he offered me the position. overall, it was a very easy interview process. I then went for a drug screening and had to wait for my drug test results. When it came back clean, I then was given a start date based on my availability.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears (Lafayette, IN) in Oct 2012
Interview
Boring. I was so bored listening to the manager that I had to try not to give him a blank stare. There were no hard questions, there actually weren't many questions at all. Most of the time was spent just listening to him ramble.
