I spoke with the recruiter over the phone followed by video calls with the hiring manager and a peer on the team. The interview format was very conversational. My interactions with the recruiter throughout the process were somewhat uncomfortable for me. What soured my experience was the offer stage. I was given a verbal offer but it was rescinded.
