RH interview questions

I received a call from a gallery leader a day after I called and emailed inquiring about the Design Consultant position. I was asked to come in for a group interview, which was then followed by two more one on one interviews. Each interview was comfortable, thorough, and allowed for any questions to be asked about the position and work environment.

Applied online & received a call from one of the Gallery Leaders the following day. Conducted a non scheduled phone interview & was offered an in person interview with one of the managers. The first interview consisted of many questions about myself, values, and career goals. For the amount of compensation they were offering, I felt that the interview process was pretty extensive. I then went on 2 more interviews only to be told that I was not chosen for the position. I felt that I was judged due to my race & not my qualifications. A few months has gone by & I decided to reapply to the position after discovering that it was open again. To my suprise I received a phone call from one of the past interviewers. I originally thought maybe he is calling to offer me the position since I've gone through the interview process once before but no, he had no clue who I was. After giving him some details of myself he quickly gets off the phone, stating that I would definitely hear something back soon. Two days later I received an email stating that I was not chosen for the position yet again. Overall it does not seem like a good company to work for. The pay is low and they only offer part-time hours.
