I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RH (Hagerstown, MD) in May 2014
Interview
I applied in store and received a call asking if I could come to the store for an interview. I was interviewed along with 2 other candidates by 4 managers. The environment was very relaxed and conversational. They were mostly just seeing if I could be friendly with customers and if I would get along with the other employees.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RH (West Jefferson, OH) in Aug 2015
Interview
Great instructions on getting to building and what to do when entered. However the large door with the company's name over head with the large numbered address was locked. Called contact and left message, asked folks walking by outside. No one was able to tell me how to get in. Saw a small unmarked door down side of building, it entered into a warehouse. called contact again, no answer. Finally called me back and advised "I guess I should have told you about that". Go through the warehouse. Security was set up like airport security (this was the 2nd red flag), tables, bins, metal detectors. WOW, what happened here?. Site tour was less than 2 minutes, appeared mainly to get me to interview room (3rd flag). Beautiful office, however saw no representation of public recognition on walls. No introductions to any staff members (4th red flag). Was advised on phone screen to prepare presentation and bring either laptop or flash drive. When arrived with laptop was advised that wouldn't work due to secure network. The HR person appeared to be all process and no attempt was made to put me (the applicant) at ease. Panel interview, one was a no show (more reg flags). I had applied for 2 different positions and the director advised me I was incorrect, then he got clarification from the regional training director who was on the phone. Asked about attrition, most recent class had a 50% attrition.

Question 1
Looking back over your career, what one thing do you regret doing?
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RH (Corte Madera, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
It was brief and relaxed. There was no job description going into this interview as it was word of mouth. One of the most low key experiences I've had as an interviewee. I was asked to come back on three separate occasions and had to wait for upper management a couple times.
