I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Patagonia (Boston, MA) in Sep 2016
Interview
I applied online back in fall of 2016 for a position at the Boston, MA location. It was my first interview for an actual job and we all met in the basement/employee lounge of the store. The store manager and the recruitment manager were very nice and had really cool backgrounds. The generally wanted to know what we were into and what we were most passionate about. I got an offer, but couldn't accept due to university schedule. Hoping to apply again in the near future.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Patagonia (Denver, CO) in Nov 2016
Interview
First you'll set up a phone interview with the store manager and she will ask you about your experience, goals, etc. Then if you get through that, they'll ask you to come into the store to meet with the assistant manager as well to see if you're a good cultural fit.

Question 1
What is one example of exceptional customer service? It does not have to be Patagonia.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Patagonia (New York, NY)
Interview
I asked Patagonia in person if they were hiring, I was handed an application. The manager said to come in on the following Monday for an interview.
I came in that Monday, and was interviewed by himself and an assistant manager.
It was comfortable but I don't think I was given a chance.
