I applied online. I interviewed at Patagonia (New York, NY)
Interview
Friendly process that consisted of quite a few rounds. I would recommend to anyone thinking of applying. The process lasted for a few months but when I heard back it was relieving.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Various questions about my desire to work for the brand and key traits.
I applied online. I interviewed at Patagonia (Denver, CO) in Sep 2020
Interview
short group interview. it was virtual because of covid. there were about 5 other people with two people interviewing. it was a relatively easy interview. each person answers each question after the other so it is pretty easy to formulate your answers why you are waiting. they ask you all the basic interview questions and everything is very general.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Patagonia in Jun 2019
Interview
I had two interviews which were very chilled and positive experiences. Great company, ethos and office. I applied through a recruiter.
However, I was not contacted when they said they would and 2 weeks later with no contact, I had to reach out to them (which was not easy) to find out I was unsuccessful. This was frustrating as I was very invested and had sacrificed other opportunities in the meantime. Had I known sooner, I could have moved on quicker. I still have no solid feedback as to why I was rejected.
Even after I finally got an answer, I still haven't received my call to discuss feedback which I had arranged with them.
Incredibly disappointing, but it doesn't taint the company image for me. Just a disappointing way for something to end.
