I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Paramount (Santa Monica, CA) in May 2009
Interview
Hiring process was normal for entertainment: called in, walked into reception, then called to the hiring manager's office. Best to really know the culture here, as if you dress corporate-y (suit, slacks, tie) it may not work unless you're applying for a lawyer job. Many people dressed very trendy, cool. Flip-flops were normal. My hiring manager interviewed me while wearing a sundress and barefoot (it was late springtime). Casual-cool enviro, with hip, in-the-know undertones.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult question was "Do you have any questions for me?" You always have to have at least one question, so I had to create something.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Paramount (New York, NY)
Interview
Received an email for an interview, scheduled it for later that week. Interview went wonderfully, really connected with who I would be replacing and working under. The next day I received a call from the hiring manager who wanted to schedule a meeting with me. We did so for the next week - interview with her was a little more stiff. Company then took a month to get back to me only after weeks worth of contact and checking in, this felt very rude to me.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Paramount (New York, NY) in Oct 2011
Interview
Applied online then met with Human Resources. After meeting Human Resources, I met with every member of the team including the person I was replacing. The process was quite simple and quick. I was offered the job in less than a week and started promptly after.
