As everyone is stating it was a group interview. I ended up going to an open house in Syracuse New York this June, I drove 5 hours to get there and ended up having to get a hotel room but I figured it would be worth it. I expected there were ( being that I had been to an interview like this before) going to be a ton of people but we barely had a handful attend the interview, maybe 15 in total ( I believe the amount of people who attend depends on the location).
Anyway after they gave us a briefing of everything that would be expected of us as flight attendants and a complete overview of the company they make sure we had it instilled that we understood that the rate of pay was going to start off extremely low for the first year. We all understood and agreed and then they opened the panel for questions.
After a quck 20 minute break we reconvened and they called us by number to come back into the meeting room and they had us sit in rows and stand up one by one to answer a question that was stated by the panel and then read off the card that was given to us with a portion of a safety announcement on it.
When everyone finishes their question we went on another 20 minute break and waited until they called us back this time splitting us up by numbers. The group I was in had 4 people in it including myself and the rest ended up going into a different board room. We were told that we were chosen to go into the one-on-one interviews where we would hop from board member to board member while they each ask us individual questions ( they call it the speed dating round, because it went along in that sort of fashion) After all the board members then you would speak to the head flight attendant (I saw it more as a video game, at the end you "defeat" the boss, lol).
After that they thank you for your time and inform you that you will receive an email within two weeks letting you know of their decision on whether or not you were given the job. My interview was was this past Friday 6/17 and I received my acceptance email today Monday 6/20 letting me know I got the job. Al- in-all everything went a lot quicker than expected but I would definitely say go into the interview prepared, no heels higher than kitten heels, a skirt suit that goes down to your knees in a neutral color (black, Navy blue, dark burgundy, etc.) And your hair in a bun or cleanly hanging behind your shoulders with a sensible headband. Clean hair cut for men and a nice dark suit.
Good luck everyone! I hope I get I meet you one day at PSA😊!
