I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PCL Construction
Interview
Promised the world materialized to just average. Told shares would double your salary in 7 years in reality more like 20+. Gave really poor reviews of current employees once I started I found the problem was not the employees but the management

Question 1
For me it's the "Are you willing to transfer question", they will ask and you better say yes if you want the job. PCL did seem to interview in the city it needed the employee, as in you probably won't be transferred instantly. Not like Perini Shipping people to Vegas instantly or with in a month or two.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PCL Construction (Prescott, AZ) in Oct 2013
Interview
I e-mailed a person who works at PCL asking if he knew of any design firms who might be hiring, and he referred me to the HR manager of PCL for a field engineer job at PCL. After interviewing on the phone he asked me to research the company then call back. After that we set up an interview, and he then referred me to a project manager who interviewed me for a job on site and gave me a tour of the job site.

Question 1
The HR manager asked me during the first call how much I knew about the company, and I wasn't prepared for an interview. However I couldn't get ahold of him for a week and we played phone tag for a while, so he probably expected me to be interview-ready. PCL is employee owned and they have some specific values that should be researched before applying.
