Old Navy interview questions

I applied online Monday, got a call back Tuesday, and went in for a 1 on 1 Wednesday. When I went into the store for the interview, the manager took me into his office for the questions. I thought it was very easy, and when we were through he told me I would either get a call back for a second interview, or be sent an email follow up. When I had first entered the store, there was a cashier dealing with a grouchy customer, and the cashier seemed really rude and did not handle the situation well. I have had experience working in a call center and have had to deal with many a dissatisfied customer. I was sure to inform the manager about how great I was working with unhappy customers when he asked me my strengths. I was sure I had it in the bag, and surprised when I revived an email the next day, informing me I had not gotten the job. I think it could have been because on the application I filled in that I was still employed with another company, which I thought would help my standings. Also, he mentioned interviewing many other applicants, so there must have just been a more qualified one.
