I was initially called by a manager of Old Navy about a week after submitting an application. She was doing multiple interviews the next day, and offered me a time slot, which I accepted. I went in (i prefer to wear business casual for interviews, but its not necessary here) and asked the first available team member who i was to talk to. They left me outside for a few moments and asked me to stand in one of the middle aisles. This is a test to see if you steal anything. Don't. After a couple of minutes the manager came out and greeted me, and asked me to come into the office. She was really nice, about my age (early twenties), and dressed casually. The interview was short and simple, though she was called on a few times to handle some store issues. All I had to know was about my own background, hours and time period i wanted to work, and how to handle with customers. It took about 15 minutes, including interruptions. Afterwards she walked me to the door and checked my bag, which is standard practice at Old Navy- bags must be checked by a manager at the end of every shift. It was simple and very low key.
