Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They basically asked a question then each person answers the question, one after another. why do you want to work for Old Navy? Tell me a little about your self. What does good customer service mean to you?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Old Navy in Oct 2010
Interview
You apply online and then get a phone call if they are hiring. Then you go through an "on-boarding" process that is ridiculous. They expect you to bring something in that is of value to you so you can share it. It is very cheesy. Also pointless.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Old Navy (Menifee, CA) in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied online on Monday morning and got a phone call at 12pm that same day asking for me to come in for an "audition" tuesday at 2:30pm. She requested I bring one item that I'm passionate about. I brought in my journal as i love writing. I arrived 15 minutes early and there was 2 other girls already there. As we waited, 3 other people arrived. The HR took us to the back room and had us sit at a table. She started by giving us a brief history on Old Navy. Then she had us go around and introduce ourselves. We talked about the items we brought. After we played 1 game of a Christmas edition of rock, paper, scissors and we had to act it out to get us comfortable. Then we played 2 games with dice. The first dice was go out on the floor and find the item of clothing the dice landed on and had to 'sell' it to the HR and the second dice was creating an outfit with that same clothing for the scenario the second dice landed on i.e first date. Afterwards, she told us she would give us a callback for the 2nd interview with the manager.
I got a callback about an hour later for the second interview with the store manger Wednesday. It was a one on one interview. It was brief and he asked me very few questions. He asked me: Whats one time I had to use one of my strengths to accomplish my goal, whats one thing I wanted to know about Old Navy. He hired me on the spot and asked about my availability.
Overall, I had been very nervous about the whole thing as this was my first job, but everything was much easier then I expected.
