The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Old Navy (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2007
Interview
It was very easy. She asked basic questions. Very friendly. She made me feel like It would be fun to work there. The second interview was a little more intense because it was with the store manager but she ended up offering me the position. It was a good experience

Question 1
Everything was pretty basic, nothing hard or unexpected
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2007
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter after having submitted my resume into Gap Inc.'s ginormous corporate database. The recruiter and I did a phone interview, and she immediately wanted to know salary requirements, specifically my base salary without bonuses. They could only offer me 5K below my current salary. I was assigned a copy test (which I aced) and called in for an in-person interview.
Why didn't I get the job? Lack of experience. I had 1 YEAR of copywriting experience and was interviewing for a position that required 3-5 years. I didn't even have a portfolio to give to the interviewer. If I interviewed with them now, I think my confidence and experience would secure an offer.
