Interview
Super simple. First question you must say something about yourself. Why retail? A lot of scenario questions. Just place an emphasis on why you love old navy product. Be aware of current promos and marketing. Its all about product love!
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Old Navy (New York, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
group interview, they call it an "audition" it was pretty cute. When I got the call to come in it wasn't the basic come in at this time & location, it was sort of like a little mini interview almost, just to see what my personality & interaction/conversation skills were like. The audition consisted of getting to know the two other people who were there (only 3 of us showed up when it was supposed to be 6) stating what we had in common, sharing things about ourselves, putting outfits together etc. They also ask for you to bring in an item special to you and why.

Question 1
The interview wasn't the traditional q&a .. but the most difficult for me I guess was to find things we all had in common
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy (Oxford, AL) in Oct 2010
Interview
I was emailed about the group interview opportunity, with maybe a week or two notice. There were 3 other people (I think there were supposed to be 5 others, though). We were taken to the back by a very gregarious guy named Chad. We were asked the usual group interview questions (difficult situation at former job, strength/weakness, etc.); everyone was given the opportunity to answer, but they gave time to let one "strong" interviewee to initiate conversation first. At the end we were all taken on the sales floor, given a situation, and asked to make an outfit. It was a fun, friendly, and open atmosphere.

Question 1
Making an outfit at the end of the interview was unexpected -- we all thought we were just walking out together to leave. I was asked to dress someone for a rock concert because he felt it "fit my look".
