I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy (Wheaton, IL) in May 2014
Interview
I had a brief phone interview with a manager along with a face to face interview at the store lasting about 30 minutes. It was very laid back and not very high-pressure, but it was still a professional environment. The experience was a bit scary because it was my first job interview but overall it was a good atmosphere with very nice managers conducting the interview process.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Old Navy (New York, NY) in Aug 2013
Interview
The old navy interview process is usually a two part thing . I was called in for an "audition" where I had to bring in one item that best reflected who I was I bought a camera and talked about photography and how much i love it. the audition is to get an idea of your personality. so try to be as bubbly as possible and show all of your knowledge on the company. if that goes well , you will be called in for the one on one interview with a manager. where you are asked questions about availability, work experience and some situational scenarios. They really want to see how you would treat customers and how your personality is. so be positive and seem helpful towards people.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Old Navy (Tysons Corner) in Oct 2014
Interview
There was a quick over the phone interview about why you applied to work at Old Navy then they schedule an in person group interview. In the interview was about four other applicants and we just went around the group answering questions like a casual conversation with the manager. It was very relaxed and we laughed and joked to loosen us up. Near the end of the interview the manager showed us around the store and had us take 5 minutes to pick out an outfit and explain why you picked it and when it could be worn. This was a fun little competition and then they would review you on your outfit. After this, the interview was over and they discussed with us one on one if they would hire us and what our pay would be. (unofficial until the background chack could be cleared a few days later.)
