Interview
Recieved the opportunity to interview through my recruiter, Robert Half Finance and Accounting. Interview lasted from 3:30 till 6:30. Interviewed with four employees. Interview process was very casual, more conversational. Asked about personal experiences, with some digression into other topics.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Stockton, CA) in Mar 2011
Interview
Interviewed initially with managing partner. AsI left I took a personality test. The next interview at the same office with the same person was basically to tell me why my personality was not a fit . (So why was I called back?). I left he interview with a bad taste in my mouth from that interview and felt the person was a complete jerk. I took another position and sure enouh, his secretary emailed me 4 weeks later asking if I wanted to move forwad. (?) I have heard your initial employmen at NY life begins with you giving them 200 names and addresses of friends and family that they start soliciting.

Interview
Manager was pretty clear about what the job actually was. I had three interviews, one on campus, managing partner and my manager again. There wasn't any sugar coating it that it was a hard job but they asked questions to see if you were a good fit.
