I applied through college or university. I interviewed at New York Life (Denver, CO) in Jan 2013
Interview
Long hiring process, 3 interviews, 1 presentation, benefits overview, one skills exam. The first interview is a screening process to decide whether or not you are a strong enough candidate to move forward. The interview may have 1 or up to 3 personnel asking questions and taking notes. There is a personality and suitability test as well to find out if finance is a well suited career for the candidate. Then you will continue with two more interviews. There is also an extensive reference and background check. They check 10 references, and if you have even the slightest blemish somewhere in life, they will find it. Prefer to hire currently employed candidates.
