I went to all the hiring process i still study for my license, they pay for school and the first exam. But I realized that i need 200 prospective for start my book, and i found very difficult, first because someone Says "I don't wanna be bothered"second NYL doesn't provide any expense as long as you are able to close the minimum. I like my recruiter, he is very helpful, but I feel there s to much different between a rookie and a older agent, I mean about expenses allowances.I don't know if I keep going forward

Interview
Applied online, submitted resume and waited for interview. Almost a month later, I got a call and they conducted a phone interview. Even though I had put salary requirements on resume, the offer was $40,000 lower than I could take. The interviewer was very informative about the company and very conversational. Seemed like a pleasant process except for the salary portion.

Was more of a dog and pony show than anything else. No questions about me, all about how much money you can make. At one point in time, attempted to sell me my own life insurance policy. They also seemed to be attempting to hire as many as possible in the hopes of one being a quality employee rather than actual due diligence.
