Difference between stock company and mutual compagny
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at New York Life (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
Basic phone screening asking questions based off of your resume. Also asked about whether you have anything on your record that would be deemed as unprofessional, I.e. Criminal record or financial record with bankruptcy or huge outstanding loans and debt. Very simple and personality based to see how you communicate with others because this position requires good communication skills.

Question 1
What was the most difficult part about being a manager?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Edison, NJ) in Oct 2015
Interview
3-Step Interview process that described the basic of Insurance Sales, but "spiced" up a bit with all the money you can potentially earn and to learn about the candidate.
The 1st interview was going over things like what you'll be doing on a daily/weekly basis, and the 2nd interview is to learn more about you as an individual. They want to know how you tick and what motivates you. The 3rd and final interview is a culmination where more specific details (i.e: commission rates, bonus, healthcare) are gone over and a formal over is either given or denied.
