New York Life interview questions

Short call. Short in person interview. Easy quick hiring process. Three rounds (hone, in person, offer) of interviewing. it was okay and they make me write 30 words so I am continuing to type until I get there

1 HR round with 1 tech interview. After 1 and half month they came back to me saying they wanted me but they thought i am too "expensive". I was saying that I already got another offer and HR said sure, the team will interview me again and then will determine if they can give me an offer. 2hrs later, they came back said they would not proceed with me. The whole process is really unprofessional. I have no trust to their HR at all.
