I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NEXT (Cardiff, Gales) in Dec 2014
Interview
One to one interview with the manager. Then went onto shop floor to be assessed on how I intereacted with customers. Then had about twenty minutes in the stock room. I found that the customer interaction part was a little bit awkward, as I havent worked in retail before approaching people was a bit strange, and not being able to answer the questions they asked about the clothes was slightly annoying as I was the one that approached them and asked if they wanted any help, however there was always someone not to far away to assist with questions that I couldnt answer.

Interview
After the phone interview I got called into the store for a trial shift where they told me it would have 1-2 hours, it took exactly 2 hours and I was exhausted, realised a retail job isn't for me. The people at the store were very nice and welcoming during my trial shift, the management teem seemed a little snobby but I guess they have to be.
