I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
I interviewed with 3 different people in addition to the recruiter. I made the 3rd round and found out later I was a finalist against 1 other candidate. They never told me I didn't get the position, I had to write them a gentle email "thanking" them for chance to interview. Strung along for 2 months then not told until I found out from the other candidate...waited 2weeks then emailed them to say "thanks".

Question 1
After your career in Operations , why are you interested in this specific non operations job?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Singapur) in Nov 2016
Interview
First, there was phone interview with the HR manager. If you pass, you will get the face-to-face interview with the hiring manager. My advice: Present your best version at the interview. The face-to-face interview is very technical for my position. I guess it is beause of the nature of the position i was applying for. A lot of things asked are related to workflow, technical skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro,.etc.
I applied online and a couple of weeks later got an email from the recruitment team with a link to a video interview. They gave me two days to complete the video interview.
