I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lush (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview is to be accepted in the VTCT training in Poole to then gain the qualification to work as a therapist in the Lush Spa of your choice. After submitting CV and cover letter I was invited to a phone interview and then invited to a group interview at the shop I applied for. The group was of about 5 people and the whole process was very relaxed but also with some practical tasks. At first we were given all the info about the VTCT, what does it mean and all the steps involved to succeed in the qualification. Then each one introduced themselves and did a little presentation about a thing they are passionate about. After this we had to perform a face massage we were asked to learn before hand with a video they sent us; and a leg massage that we performed along the spa trainer. Eventually there was a brief one to one interview for some technicalities and a shop floor trial of about an hour and a half. It all felt quiet engaging and relaxing overall!

Interview
Submitted application via Seek - it required a one page assessment of the Lush website including recommendations for UX, CRO & SEO improvements. Essentially a free pitch.
Initial interview was over the phone. It's supposed to take approx. 15 minutes & is a basic screening process. It went well & I was told that they would be in touch within a week with feedback.
A week passes & I didn't hear from anyone so I followed up. I was told that the application had progressed & the interviewer had been trying to contact me. I didn't have any missed calls, voicemails or emails so I'm not quite sure about this claim. I was then contacted by the interviewer an hour later, so it seems like they had my correct contact information.
We scheduled a Skype interview for the following night at 6:30PM. Ten minutes before the call the interviewer rang & said he would be 30 minutes late. 45 minutes later the interview started.. it was the basic interview questions & went for an hour.
There was no discussion about the website assessment I had submitted.
The interview was very positive & the final stage of interview would be a face to face meeting. I was told that they would be making a final decision by the end of the week & that he would be in touch either tomorrow or the next day.
Two weeks pass & I never hear from the interviewer. I followed up twice & received no response.
Overall the experience felt unorganised, unprofessional & inconsiderate.

Question 1
Basic interview questions (strengths, weaknesses, leadership examples etc) plus understanding of the future or digital. One outstanding question was naming a brand whose digital strategy I admired & explaining why.
