Just 1 round of a standard behavorial interview. They care more about fit than current technical skill, although I've heard each position is manager-dependent and some may have tougher application processes.
The interview was 3 rounds. 2 rounds with a hiring manager and 1 with the engineering manager. The first 2 rounds were mostly behavioral and asked questions about my personal info. The last round with the engineering manager asked me about my experience and a few questions about how I would handle some simple things like API's.

Tell me about a time when you had to work on a team.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lumen in Oct 2023
Interview
Automated HireVue interview. I highly suspect they don't actually see the response from candidates and they use AI for automated evaluation. The evaluation report from AI/HireVue was quite biased and inaccurate. I suspect AI auto rejects candidates even before actual human see resume or response.
