Lumen interview questions

Interview was conducted by existing area manager and director level. Consisted of a phone interview followed by a live interview. Questions related directly to job functions as well as people management skills. Prepared for interview by studying job qualifications as well as a sample list of possible questions/scenarios that would relate to the specific job. Questioned others performing the same job on matters relating to performance specifications as well as employee benchmarking for performance ratings. Analyzed spreadsheets relating to performance metrics to become more familiar on what was expected from the potential employee.

After completing the lengthy application(3 hours approx for background information, resume AND application, several skills tests as well as personality) was contacted by phone and given a quick interview and set up for the last step which was the panel interview. This interview took approx about an hour in which was questioned on different scenarios and how would be the ideal way to respond. Then a role play is started where you must sell a random Centurylink product to the panel of interviews. There is no script and you have a few minuted to prepare. It is all improv here folks. If they like what they see you get an immediate offer and then must complete an employment application for the background check vendor as well as show up for your drug test within 2 days or the offer is no longer valid.
