I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kumon in Apr 2013
Interview
After applying, I got an e-mail from the main lady at the center to schedule an interview that week. I went in, and she gave me a simple math and reading test to take, since my position is to help the younger kids. After I finished the tests, she came over and told me a little bit about what the position entails and how the center works overall. Then she asked me if I was interested and that if I wanted it, there was an open position.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kumon (Dayton, NJ)
Interview
There was only one interview and the manager asked about my self and what I am studying and what I wanted to do in college. Also, he asked me what courses I took and what level I can teach up to.
After the interview, there was another 2 hour session where the manager taught us the material and how Kumon was run (how the hw is assigned, goal of Kumon, material covered, etc.). There was also a short test on some of the basic subjects (English, Writing, and Math).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was very casual and I felt that no difficult questions were asked.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (Calgary, AB) in Oct 2008
Interview
A B level English Kumon test was given. (small 10 page booklet with multiple choice and short answer). A very brief interview was done and it was not private. The interviewer was busy tending to students as I was being "interviewed".
