I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Kumon (Spring, TX)
Interview
I sent an email to the center with my resume. The center owner contacted me about 18 hours later inviting me for the interview which was 6 days later.
The center owner asked me a couple of questions but was mainly telling me about the job. Everything was pretty casual. I'm on a "trial" for two weeks which is probably unpaid work. I took no proficiency test.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kumon (Lawrenceville, NJ) in Mar 2013
Interview
It was a fairly easy interview. Asked about myself, my goals and my experience with tutoring and if i've worked with children before. I was given a skills test to do as well for math and reading.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kumon (Burlington, MA) in May 2016
Interview
At first they have you speak with a recruiter over the phone, who asked basic questions and salary expectations. The recruiter sends a 30 page reading about the company's method to study before the in-person interview. I was interviewed by two people at a regional branch, who asked questions about my understanding of the company's method and mission, my own resume and experiences, as well as hypothetical judgement questions.
