I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kumon (Teaneck, NJ) in Oct 2012
Interview
The whole process took about a month. I applied in the summer and heard back a month later. The manager called asking for an in person interview. I went in and had a chat with the manager, and then took a math test. That seemed to be it. After that, I heard back from the manager a week later and learned that I had gotten the job. It was a fairly simple and quick process. The reason I think it took a month's time is because they weren't looking for new hires at the time of my application. Otherwise, the process would have been a lot faster.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kumon (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2015
Interview
Sent an email to the local Kumon centre manager. Handed in my CV the following Tuesday and had a very informal unpaid 'trial' where I saw how work was marked and walked around the classroom.
The following classroom session I had to complete an English and Maths test, however, the job was given mainly on how I dealt with children and marking. Was a very casual approach.
