Interview
Heard back a month later from an online ad that I applied with a cover letter and resume. It was simple, only a phone interview for about 8-10 mins then show up for first shift next week or so. In person I was immediately shown around, given work papers to fill out and return next shift that week and that was that. I don't believe there were any scenario questions given (such as what would you do if [bad behavior] happened?), it was more personality and work ethic related.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kumon (Westminster, CA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Interviewed at Westminster location. Very uptight and uncomfortable. They asked a lot of typical interview questions but the difficult one was "make your own math question and teach it to us." Wish they provided a question for me to teach instead, because I tend to make it harder for myself.
Activity: Make up a question (picking a topic from a category) and teach it to the interviewer. [Interviewer will ask for you to "make the question more difficult."]
One on one with head teacher after being referred by a friend. Whole process only took about two weeks. The interview was all behavioral questions, no technical questions. It was an ok experience.
