I applied in-person. I interviewed at Kumon (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Managers just want to see you are able to balance a school/work balance—you are good at math and reading, and can communicate well with children. There is a written math exam and verbal interview.

Question 1
How to solve fractions/decimals. You also had to show high reading comprehension
The interviewer asked me multiple questions about which age I am most comfortable teaching and my math/reading background. It went pretty well and I also had to take a sample achievement test for reading and math so they could decide where to place me in.
