Interview
I applied for the job online, and was immediately contacted for a phone screen. The interview process was quick, and very smooth. The recruiter and hiring manager were always available for questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Jet (Hoboken, NJ) in Jan 2018
Interview
First I had a phone interview, then I had to take an online cognitive assessment. Once I 'passed' the assessment, I had another phone interview with a different manager. There were a total of five different people that I interacted with. Once I completed the last phone interview, they offered to fly me out to New Jersey. Upon arrival, I was shown around the office before I was interviewed by three different people, each with cases for me to work on. They were complicated and simple questions, I overthought a simple one and thought I bombed the interview. Overall, I got the vibe that it was a high pressure and fun environment and didn't expect to get an offer. I did get an offer, but declined because they would not negotiate compensation and I have a newborn baby and a fiancee. I was given a better offer with a tech company in a warmer climate
Your candidacy basically depends what kind of mood your interviewers were in that day--mine were very impersonal and borderline rude and seemed like they had no time to make any conversation. Recruiter was also highly incompetent.
