The recruiter reached via LinkedIn to pitch a position that sounded good for exploration. Pretty standard interview process was narrated, consisting of interview with hiring manager (video), take home assignment, online coding challenge with a lead and then an on- site interview with a panel, in that order.
The recruiters were super nice in the beginning, and helpful in understanding what each stage entailed. Made it until the online coding round, was able to solve the problem, and the lead praised the solution as well as interaction. But, all of a sudden was ghosted like a fake business taking your money, with the recruiters assuring everything was fine when asked, but no forward move in the process. Gave up after a month of waiting time. The level of unprofessional behavior is blatant and repulsive, especially when the manager demanded ‘a highly professional and proficient engineer’ on the video call.
Won’t entertain again.
