Had two 30 minute interviews with managers who were hiring for their individual teams. Then had a 30 minute interview with their senior manager. They then planned to bring me onsite to do a presentation and panel interviews. The recruiting team planned it last minute so it ended up being over Zoom. It was an hour long presentation with various stakeholders about my background and past projects . Then three 45 minute back to back panel interviews with Senior HF's, designers, quality, reg.
Received an offer for base human factors engineer. Overall the process felt slightly disorganized. The interviews were all technical, I didn't get a good feel for the company culture or what it would be like to work there. I wish there was an interview with the team I'd be working on.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intuitive (Minneapolis, MN) in Sep 2023
Interview
Efficient once the ball gets rolling. Can be slow to start at first, but once things begin to move they go very very quickly. 4 total interviews. Overall a very positive experience.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuitive in May 2024
Interview
I was scheduled for an interview with Angelo one of their recruiters. Upon the virtual interview he had his camera shut off, then proceeded to take over the entire interview talking about his dog and how Intuitive needed to convert him from a contractor to a permanent position. He asked zero questions about my background, behavioral questions or situational questions and did not give any details as to what to expect for next steps.
