I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Home Depot Canada (Medicine Hat, AB) in Dec 2012
Interview
it was a very thorough process via phone then first interview (generally a second) and then an offer interview. The one on one interview as well as the panel (2 people) interview were very comfortable and easy to be yourself. The interviewers welcomed my questions with as much interest as they had in my answers to their questions. The fact that they interview over the phone first is nice because it helps them to get the "answers" that they want first before "seeing" who you are and this aids in creating a very diverse group of individuals which in turn creates a fun and productive work environment.
