I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HelloFresh in Oct 2019
Interview
The first step consisted in a 3-hours test to evaluate your SQL and Python skills. The second step was 1-hour behavioral and personal experience videocall. The third step was a final interview with the Director.
phone call->technical test->first round in person with managers->second round interviews with manager's manager and VP. this process took about a month of process. I suppose lot of people go through the process here and that's why it took a while to get everyone sorted out.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Berlín) in Aug 2019
Interview
After I applied through the careers page, HR contacted me for arranging the initial interview. The first interview is with HR, talking about your background, motivation and all other stuff. Later on, they send you a challenge on Github to complete within a one week. After your completion, they review the code and write some comments about your pull request.
The reviewer asked some irrelevant questions while reviewing, pointing out unnecessary things. I answered nicely and wisely. However, HR sent me an email said that your technical skills you don't suffice for a role on our tech team. This is the most ridiculous rejection email that I have ever received. I all answered their review notes and questions, at least I was expecting constructive feedback after the review process.
