I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HelloFresh (New York, NY) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process requires a take-home design challenge on which you’ll be expected to spend 6-8 hours and redesign a feature of your choice, fully incorporating research, UX, and visual design, and ultimately creating a stand-alone presentation.
The recruiter was constantly intrusively asking me where I was in the process with other companies, which was a little off-putting.
Ultimately, after completing the design challenge, the recruiter completely ghosted, and I had to found out I didn’t get the job when I received a Job Alert from LinkedIn that the company had re-posted the opening.

Do you have extensive experience in both UX and UI?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
After applying I got an email about an interview with the HR person.
Upon getting a call from the HR, we started chatting about what HelloFresh is and what they offer for full time employees. HR then asked me regarding my background. It seemed to me that the process was very rushed and that HR did not review my resume/cover letter, as I clearly stated that I won't be graduating until few months later, and won't be available for full-time until then. After I talked about my education background, HR then realized I am not available for working right away, and quickly hung up. I wasted 20 mins chatting with HR about my background until we realized that HR did not do their only job.
