HR reached out to schedule a screening call which went well. Got sent for a 2nd round interview. In what I'm sure is an attempt to remove bias, they don't allow the hiring manager to be part of the hiring process until the very end and I don't think they're part of the decision making. As a result, my 2nd round interview to evaluate leadership ability was given to another senior leader at the company. Having this part be an interchangeable person made it so this person didn't even know which interview I was on and they weren't able to give me a ton of insight into the actual position. Didn't love that. I felt this interview lacked structure and the interviewer asked somewhat random questions that were not prepared. Some were good, but some went down paths that weren't as relevant to the position. Overall, I still felt it went well and was wished "good luck on the rest of the process" which I thought was a good sign. Never heard another word from HelloFresh after that. HR didn't answer my email. Only found out I didn't get the job because the job posting disappeared.

I applied from Company's site at Benelux region.
Had just a screening round. Sccording to me It went well. HR said she will reply in few days. Never got a reply back.
Didn't expect this. I wanted this Job.
They would have rejected me in Technical Round. It would have been better.

Classic Bait and Switch Offer The entire hiring process was an absolute nightmare. It went from a self-recording video interview to a regular interview, followed by a case assessment, and ultimately a final interview.
The process was incredibly fast-paced and disorganized. During the case assessment, I had to create a 30-second advertisement, help them find influencers for partnerships, identifying trends, and even drafting a sample email to a potential influencer. It felt like I was working against myself, as if my efforts were being used to exploit my skills and ideas.
To add insult to injury, the interviewer waited until the very end of our conversation to offer me an "unpaid internship." Keep in mind that the job description clearly stated a remote position with a salary of $25 per hour. It's hard to believe that 500 applicants would have applied had they known the company was seeking someone to work for free. Essentially, they made it clear that as long as I had a dog and a camera, and was willing to work for free, they would hire me.
It felt like no matter what answers I provided during the final interview, they were never enough. It seemed like they wanted five more answers for every question asked. Throughout the final interview, I constantly felt undermined, as if they were using my perceived inadequacies as a justification to offer an unpaid internship.
To make matters worse, I invested time and effort into creating a video ad using the best software available, Adobe Premiere Pro. However, they were unimpressed and insisted that I create it using my phone instead. 🤡🤡🤡 If they want free labor, they should simply advertise the position as an unpaid internship, rather than resorting to deceitful tactics.
