Interview

Interview
had a phone interview which was short and lasted about 10 minutes as others had said.
This is pretty simple as most phone interviews are, I would say this is more of a brief summary of yourself and why recruitment/why hays etc. standard job interview questions that you would normally get in other industry or job applications.
Was invited to face-to-face interview so you can elaborate more on your experiences, skills and also your personality. I was offered my interview the next day after the phone interview. Communication & a good display of their core values seems to hold well with them.
Was then given a role-play situation which admittedly was quite difficult, I didn't do well in that situation so they didn't want to progress with me. Despite this, they will give you detailed and precise feedback even if you fail and will advise you on what to do to improve if you still want to pursue a career in recruitment. So I do thank them for that as it was very useful in getting an analysis of yourself as self-analysis tends to either be difficult for most people to do or is usually self-inflated,
