Interview
There is a 4 part interview process.
1. Phone interview - 10-15 mins discussing your CV and learning about why you want to get into recruitment
2. Face to Face interview - this is to understand you as an individual more, learn about your CV and share your experiences, why you want to get into Hays, what you know about Hays already and a short role play situation. Make sure you ask a lot of open ended questions and get the interviewer to talk more during the role play. Be enthusiastic.
3. Assessment center - This seems dreadful. 3 hours of intense role play with a group of other people but it really isn't. Be confident and stay calm. They know you are not experts but they do want to see how coach able you are. Find out about Hays and it's values. Look through their website and pick up key facts.
4. Final interview with Director - This is where you prove how committed you are to the role and recruitment. Show you're a team player, willing to learn and excited to get to know the team and industry. Ask strategic questions and not about the money, constantly (although learning about your commission structure is important).
