Online assessment followed by online interview. General psychometric test, told you lots about HSBC and the jobs encountered on graduate scheme. Test take about 1.5 hours and get personalised feedback a few days later. 1 Week later invited to do a job simulation, which was much more personalised to the specific role you applied for.

The hiring process involved online screening and then on-site interviews. The online screen was very general and not job specific. The on-site was mostly behavioral. The on-site involved meeting group of managers who ask behavioral questions and then also decide which team to put you in.
Focused on cores of finance and statistics. Detailed discussion on the projects worked upon till now. Questions pertaining to logic and reasoning was briefly touched upon. Telephonic interview was conducted in my case.
